Terms of Service for QR Scanner & Generator

Welcome to QR Scanner & Generator (“the App”), developed by
Naeem (“Developer”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading,
installing, or using the App or visiting our website,
you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree
with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QR Scanner & Generator, you confirm that you are at
least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) and
possess the legal capacity to accept these Terms. These Terms constitute a
legally binding agreement between you and the Developer.

2. Use of the Application & License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal,
revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable limited license
to install and use the App on mobile devices owned or controlled by you for
personal, non-commercial use only.

You agree not to:

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
  • Use the App for any illegal, unauthorized, or fraudulent purpose.
  • Modify, translate, or create derivative works based on the App.
  • Use the App to scan, distribute, or process malicious or illegal content.
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App.

3. Device Permissions

To function properly, the App may request certain device permissions:

  • Camera Permission: Required to scan QR codes and barcodes in real-time.
  • Photo/Storage Permission: Optional; required if you choose to scan QR/barcode images from your device gallery or save generated QR codes to your gallery.
  • Location Permission: Optional; required on certain Android versions to facilitate Wi-Fi network connections initiated from scanned Wi-Fi QR codes.

4. User Data & Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. All scanned and generated history is stored
locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or store your
scanned history or personal data on external servers.

5. External Links & Scanned Content

The App allows you to scan QR codes containing web URLs, phone numbers,
email addresses, Wi-Fi credentials, and other information. We do not control,
verify, or endorse third-party content or websites embedded in scanned QR codes
or barcodes. Opening external links or executing actions based on scanned
content is at your own risk.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including its source code,
visual interface, logos, graphics, trademarks, and design elements, are owned
exclusively by the Developer and protected by applicable copyright and
intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES
OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND
NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED,
SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE
DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP,
INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, DEVICE ISSUES, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes
will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use
of the App following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the
revised Terms.
